The CD includes a 30 day demo version of PowerBuilder; although the book is 650 pages, 30 days is satisfactory. The authors introduce PowerBuilder by leading the reader through several hands-on examples that eventually culminate into a small application.

Contains a solid introduction to object oriented, GUI development environments with no programming experience necessary. Provides client/server fundamentals with guidelines for writing successful applications. Presents design standards for creating effective interfaces and databases. Includes Internet techniques for deploying applications globally, with an introduction to creating full-featured, Internet-enabled programs.
