Horton|This book is severely outdated. It was written in 2006 with Game Maker 6. That's ten years and at least 3 versions ago. This book only taught Drag n Drop, with only 3 chapters out of 15 of real coding at the very end of the book. I only got use out of the chapter that talked about game design.
